Colour temperature is a characteristic of visible light. Like temperature, it is measured in Kelvin (°K). The human eye functions more effectively when viewing objects illuminated by a light source with a colour temperature close to that of natural daylight. A work light with a higher colour temperature will help prevent machine operator fatigue, meaning a safer and more productive work environment.
